Trunk Rack and Adapter Bar Recommendation for a 2012 Mercedes C Class 300 with Felt Versa E
Question:
I am interested in the Thule Outway Bike Rack TH45JV for my 2012 Mercedes 300 4 door. Looks like a good system, but I am not sure if it will work for my Felt Versa E which is a step through bike with no top tube. Will this unit work for me or would you have an alternative recommendation with a rack of equal quality? Thanks for your help,

Expert Reply:
The Thule OutWay part # TH45JV is a confirmed fit for your 2012 Mercedes 300 C-Class and would work just fine with your bike that does not have a horizontal top tube but would require the adapter bar part # UB01 because of this.
The adapter bar attaches to the steering stem and to the seat post to provide the needed attachment point. Check out the review video I attached for more info as well.
