Bike Rack Solution for Carrying E-Bikes with a 2012 Chevy Traverse Being Flat Towed
Question:
I have a 2015 Thor Palazzo 33.3 and flat tow a 2012 Traverse @5000 lbs with a blue Ox tow bar. I would like to add a bike carrier that can hold 2 26in ebikes each weighing @55 lbs. Could you make recomendations for me. Thanks

What you would need to do is install a hitch on your 2012 Chevy Traverse with a 2 inch opening like the part # 75528 which is confirmed as a fit for your vehicle.
With that installed you can use a Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE2 2-Bike Carrier for Electric Bicycles # HLY84FR which is designed for carrying E-bikes like yours and would have plenty of capacity. The rack has an 80 lb per bike capacity.
