Adding a 7-Way Trailer Connector and Brake Controller to a 2015 jeep Renegade
Question:
Will this adaptor work on a 2015 Jeep Renegade Latitude 4x4 with the after market tow hitch assembly from Renegade Ready? Also, will I need to order any additional parts? I would like a brake controller for safety. Will this cover the needs?

The 4- to 7-Way adapter # 37185 is not vehicle specific. Your 2015 Jeep Renegade would just have to have a 4-Way flat trailer connector already to plug into the adapter. If it doesn't then I recommend # 118651.
To add the 7-Way and wire in a brake controller I actually recommend # ETBC7. This comes with the same adapter, 37185, as well as the additional wiring and other parts needed to hardwire in a brake controller.
For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up and use and it is reliable. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you. The video is not a Renegade but all ETBC7 installations are the same with few exceptions.
