Dimensions of Jack Mounting Bracket for Fulton Marine Trailer Jacks # P9012-00

Question:

What is the length how far it extends away from the base of the top lip of the bracket that is welded to the top of the trailer frame? My utility trailer frame is channel iron 3 X 1-1/2. Will this work in this application? Thanks!

I went out to the warehouse and took a bunch of measurements of the Jack Mounting Bracket # P9012-00. The side flanges don't stick out towards the trailer as far as the top flange. The distance from the far edge of the top flange to a side flange is 7/8 inches. The trailer frame would have to be at least 7/8 inches wide so at 1-1/2 inches you are good to go.

The bracket does not have to be welded the entire length of the flanges so the 3 inch height of your frame will be fine. The overall height of the bracket is 4-5/16 inches and internally it is 4-1/8 inches.

The overall width is 4-7/16 inches and internally it is 4-1/8 inches. I made a picture showing these measurements for you.
