Any Modification To Rear Fascia When Installing Draw-Tite Class III Hitch, # 75679, On A Ford Flex
Question:
Does the rear bumper/fascia require modification to install this hitch?

Expert Reply:
There is no modification required on the rear bumper/fascia when installing the Draw-Tite Class III 2 Inch Hitch, # 75679, on your 2009 to 2010 Ford Flex. The exhaust will be needed to be temporarily lowered to install the hitch. The hitch receiver will sit below the rear fascia.
I am sending a link to the installation instructions on the Draw-Tite Hitch. Also, a video link of the hitch being installed on a 2009 Ford Flex.
For towing you will also need the Curt Ball Mount, # C45010, and the Pin And Clip, # PC3. The recommended hitch ball would be the Tow Ready 2 Inch Hitch Ball, # 19247.
The wiring harness you will need is the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118472. I am sending a link to the installation instructions on the wiring harness.
