Recommended BoatBuckle Tie-Downs for Replacing Damaged BoatBuckles on a Shoreliner Boat Trailer
Question:
I recently purchased a Shoreliner trailer in which the previous owner had retractable BoatBuckles installed at back. However, it looks like he or someone pulled the straps out and then cut them off. Is it possible to purchase two replacement straps, and how hard is it to install them? Thanks!

It sounds like the previous owner had the BoatBuckle G2 2 inch wide x 43 inches long Transom Tie-Downs # IMF08893 (833lbs), the stainless steel BoatBuckle 2 inch wide x 43 inches long tie-downs (500lbs) # IMF14256, or the mini G2 tie-downs # IMF106877 1 inch wide x 6 foot long (466lbs).
I wish there was a way to replace the strap but the best thing for you to do is to replace the units.
I have linked the above mentioned products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
