Distance from Frame to Top of Receiver for Hitch 41001 on a 1986 Chevy C/K Pickup
Question:
86 chevy k20 Scottsdale reg cab 8ft box step bumper, I watched your video and it said top of receiver was 21inch off ground, must be different tires than mine, I have 19 1/2 off ground to under bumper, any way what is the measurement from frame to top of receiver, I need to see if it clears bumper

The video for hitch # 41001 is on a 1978 Chevy C/K pickup so it does stand to reason that it would be different than your 1986; still amazingly close though. The distance from the bottom of the frame down to the top of the receiver is approximately 5-3/8 inches.
If your truck has the standard or step bumper then hitch # 41001 will fit. If you have the deep drop bumper it will not fit and you would need a different hitch # 41504.
