Advisability of Increasing Wheel Diameter from 15 to 16 Inches on K-Z 5th Wheel Toy Hauler  

Question:

hi can u tell me if it would be safe and that the manufacturer would recommend that if there is plenty of clearance for the wheels and tires that i could go from a 15inch to 16inch wheel on my 5th wheel toy hauler K-Z 5th wheel toy hauler thank you

When the trailer is fully loaded, you won't want to see any less than 3 inches of clearance between the underside of the fender and the top of the tire. Going with the 1 inch diameter larger tire will move the tire about 1/2 inch closer to the underside of the fender.

If there's enough clearance, and the new tires are of the proper load rating to accommodate the weight of the toy hauler and the gear carried on it, going up one inch in wheel diameter would be just fine.
