How to Determine Wheel Bolt Pattern to Choose New Wheel/Tire Combo
Question:
how many lugs are on a bolt pattern JK42. We need new trailer tires and the current ones on our trailer are 5 lugs. The tires currently on the trailer are: ST20575R15 6 Ply Radial Trailer Tire and Wheel Assembly 5 Lug. If you could let me know if the above bolt pattern is a 5 or 6 lug that would be most helpful. Thank You

I'm not familiar with a JK42 bolt pattern, nor could I find any information about it online.
Your 5 lug wheels could have one of 4 different bolt patterns, 5 on 4-1/2, 5 on 4-3/4, 5 on 5 or 5 on 5-1/2, with 5 on 4-1/2 being the most common. I'll link you to an FAQ article that explains how to measure to determine the wheel's bolt pattern. The easiest way to determine which bolt pattern your wheels use, get a center to center measurement between two adjacent wheel bolt holes. If the distance is 2-5/8" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-1/2, it it's 2-3/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 4-3/4 if it's 3" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5 and it it's 3-1/4" - the bolt pattern is 5 on 5-1/2. If you'd care to determine the bolt pattern you need, I'd be happy to make a wheel/tire combo recommendation for you.
If you click the provided link, you can see the ST250/75-15 wheel/tire combos we offer. Use the filters at the side of the page to choose the bolt pattern, style of wheel and the load range. That particular tire size is available in a load range B (1480 lb/tire), load range C (1820 lb/tire) or D (2150 lb/tire).
