Number of Installation Bolts Required to Install Trailer Hitch on a 2017 Kia Sportage
Question:
2017 kia sportage, lx with 4 cyl. eng. I noticed that there are 4 holes on each side of your hitch. Does it req. more than 4 bolts to install hitch?

Good news! The Curt hitch # C13281 is a no drill application, which means the 4 bolt holes on the hitch are all that it takes to mount this hitch to your vehicle. These mounting holes are already predrilled on your vehicle's frame for easy installation.
I do have one suggestion for you though. I would recommend the etrailer hitch # e72TR over the Curt brand because to be compliant with Curt's warranty you will need to use a stabilization strap like # 18050 on all non trailer loads, which means accessories like bike racks and cargo carriers, but the etrailer doesn't require this strap. The etrailer hitch is also a no drill application that will use the same existing 4 mounting holes to mount the hitch in.
