How to Determine if Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack HLY94FR Will Clear Rear Bumper of Vehicle
Question:
I bought a 2016 Chevy Traverse and want a 2 bike-rack. The HLY 94 FR does not specific the length of the square piece that will go in my 2inch hitch opening. Obviously, I want to know it is long enough to clear the back tailgate. How long is that piece? PS I will be mounting dutch bicycles female or step through version and male or bar version.

The Hollywood Racks Destination Bike Rack # HLY94FR measures 9-1/4 inches from the hitch pin hole to the nearest bike track. You would need to measure from the center of the hitch pin hole on your 2016 Chevy Traverse out to the furthest point out on the rear bumper. If that distance is less than 9-1/4 inches the rack will clear folded down. If the distance is less than 10 inches it would also fold up.
This rack will work well with your different types of bikes. Check out the attached video.
