Will the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller Work with a 2016 Grand Cherokee
Question:
I am looking at a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a trailer package. I pull a 26foot Airstream with dual axles. I was wondering if the Tekonsha Voyager 39510, controller with wiring adapter, TK93VR is applicable to the Jeep GC. Thanks

Yes the Tekonsha Voyager Trailer Brake Controller # 39510 and Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # TK93VR are both great choices for you 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have included an installation video that will help you as well as a Help Article with general information on trailer brake controllers.
For a more user-friendly controller, I'd recommend the Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160. Rather than a single color changing LED that's used to indicate the status of the braking system, the Primus features an alpha-numeric display that's much easier to understand and use. This controller is also self-leveling, the Voyager is not.
I'll also link to an article that explains how the Primus controller works.
