The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System 10,000 lbs. GTW and 1,000 lbs. TW # FA92-00-1000 will remove some tongue weight. However, every situation is different and this system could remove more or less weight depending on how your weight distribution system is set up and how much tongue weight you have.

A weight distribution system takes some of the tongue weight and distributes it to the front of the tow vehicle and the trailer axles. I contacted Fastway and while they were not able to give me a specific number, about 40-45 percent of the tongue weight is taken off and distributed with each Fastway System.

When choosing a weight distribution system, it is key to know your trailer's loaded and ready to tow tongue weight. To this tongue weight you will need to add the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle in the trunk of your vehicle. Once you know the total TW for the vehicle and trailer system it will be easier to choose a properly rated weight distribution system. If you can tell me the total tongue weight of your system, I would be happy to help you pick out a weight distribution system.

The Fastway weight distribution systems do not come with a hitch ball. I recommend the Curt 2" Hitch Ball # A-90 and Tow Ready 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # 63840 if you choose to go with a Fastway system.

I attached help articles on common weight distribution questions and how to find the tongue weight of your trailer you may find helpful.
