Trailer Hitch Recommendation for 2003 Honda Pilot

Question:

Can you tell me the differences between the types of trailer hitches for a 2003 Honda Pilot. They all seem to be rated the same.

You are correct that the trailer hitches available for your 2003 Honda Pilot all have the same towing and tongue weight capacities. This hitches all carry Class III ratings, are compatible with weight distribution system, and have 2 inch x 2 inch receiver openings.

These hitches have minimal differences. For example, the curt has an extra mounting bracket above the receiver opening. The Draw-Tite hitch will require the exhaust to be temporarily lowered for installation.

Out of the hitches confirmed to fit your vehicle, I recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch # 13328. This trailer hitch will offer you the same capacity and receiver size as a hitch like the Draw-Tite # 75599, but the Curt hitch comes at a more economical price. Curt also makes their trailer hitch here is the USA.

No drilling is required to install the trailer hitch, and it will not interfere with the full size spare under your Pilot. I've attached the written installation instructions for this hitch for you, as well as some help articles on installing a trailer hitch. An installation video is also attached for you.
