Parts Needed to Install a Brake Controller and 6-Way in a 2015 Jeep Renegade
Question:
I have a 2015 Jeep Renegade and I am needing to wire in a 6 pole wiring harness to pull my camper. I see the 4 pole but I dont see the 6 pole. Is there anything I can do without adapting a 4 pole to a 6 pole?

The easiest and best way to install a 6-way on a vehicle that has no trailer wiring like your 2015 Jeep Renegade is to first install a 4-way like the part # 118651 and then use a 6-way adapter like part # A10-6034VP to convert it to a 6-way if you don't have brakes on your trailer.
If instead you do have brakes you would need the part # ETBC6 instead of the # A10-6034VP. This comes with everything needed to make the 6-way conversion and install the brake controller.
For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best-selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup. This is a proportional brake controller that senses the amount of braking the tow vehicle is applying and applies a proportionate amount to the trailer brakes.
