Transmission Cooler for a 2009 Chevy Suburban Towing a 4,600 Pound Travel Trailer
Question:
When towing my travel trailer that weights 4600 pounds going up a 5+ grade, my transmission temperature get to 260. I have factory tranny oil cooler on it already. I am looking at adding another to keep the fluid cooler. What would you recommend?

Expert Reply:
For your 2009 Chevy Suburban I recommend a highly efficient supplemental cooler since your fluid temperature did get pretty high. Take a look at Derale cooler # D13504. This is a Class IV rated cooler meaning that it offers substantial additional cooling to help keep the fluid temperature down to a safer range. I have linked a video review of this cooler for you.
