Recommended 4-Way Flat Wiring for a 1995 Toyota Pickup

I WANT TO WIRE A FOUR WAY FLAT FROM TOW VEHICLE TO 4 WAY FLAT BOAT TRAILER. I ASSUME I NEED A CONVERTER 4 WIRE ON ONE END AND 5 WIRE ON OTHER SINCE THE TOW VEHICLES TURN SIGNALS ARE SEPRATE FROM TH STOP LIGHT 1995 TOYOTA PICKUP. I DONT KNOW HOW THEY WOULD WIRE UP. THE 5 WIRE FROM VEHICLE TO 4 WIRE TO TRALER? OR HOW.

Yes, a tail light converter would be required to wire your 1995 Toyota pickup for towing. We offer custom-fit T-connector # 118379, which would plug right into your factory connectors behind the vehicle tail lights.
I would recommend that you double check the trailer plug, however, as it is common that boat trailers use a 5-Way plug, due to being equipped with hydraulic brakes. If this is the case, you would also need a 4 to 5-Way adapter for your pickup, like part # 20036. The adapter would plug into the 4-Way, and you would connect the additional blue wire to the reverse light wire behind your vehicle tail light assembly.
I have included some additional information on wiring for towing that should be helpful, as well as the installation instructions for the # 118379 4-Way connector.
