Trailer Hitch and Wiring for a 2014 Kia Sportage SX with Dual Exhaust
Question:
My Kia Sportage SX model has dual exhaust ports, fed by a muffler with two outlets. I see many Kia installs on this web site, but it is difficult for me to determine if this hitch will fit properly on my SX! I see pictures and videos, none of which show dual exhaust ports, like my SX has! So... Will it FIT? Is there going to be some CONTACT between the exhaust ports and the hitch??

Yes, the Curt trailer hitch # C13120 will fit your 2014 Kia Sportage SX with dual exhaust. The hitch, like the dual exhaust, is designed symmetrically. I have included a picture showing the hitch installed on a model with dual exhaust.
There should not be any contact between the hitch and exhaust components. On the off chance that there is there are steps that can be taken to correct the issue outlined in the help article I have linked for you.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts; one with a 3/4 inch rise or 2 inch drop and one with a 2-3/4 inch rise or 4 inch drop. It also includes a 1-7/8 inch ball, 2 inch ball, hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag.
If the ball mount kit does not have the right rise or drop to tow the trailer level, use the link I have included that explains how to measure to choose a ball mount to tow the trailer level.
And for trailer wiring you can use # 118526 to add a 4-Way flat connector to the rear of the vehicle. I have included a link to a video showing how the wiring installs.
