Draw Tite or Curt Hitch Recommendation for a 2014 Toyota Sienna
Question:
Looking at Curtis and Drawtight for 2014 Toyota Sienna xle. Does the Draw tight have more clearance and does it hold or pull more weight than the Curtis? Just wondering as this seems like good selling point in favor of Drawtight besides the straight look as the Curtis seems to look better. Also noticed Draw tight takes longer to install...why? Just some questions as I am looking to buy one of them today. Primary use is for bikes or rack for hauling extra things. Thanks!

For your 2014 Toyota Sienna the Draw Tite Hitch part # 75237 that you referenced has a higher towing capacity at 675 lbs tongue weight and 4,500 lbs total trailer weight. Both of these hitches install the exact same. The time differences are due to that being the estimate either brand gave. Draw Tite just happened to be a bit more conservative than Curt with the install time.
Unless you really like the look of the Curt I would go with the Draw Tite as it has a higher capacity and very similar look.
You should note that you also need to obey the towing capacities of your vehicle that are listed in the owners manual.
I attached an install video for the Draw Tite for you to check out as well.
