Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Counteract Hub Hero Cleaning Brush for cars and trailers. Now, it is necessary to clean all the threaded and mating surfaces of the wheel assembly to ensure proper clamping force is achieved. This will help clean those surface rust and debris that's on the mating surfaces of wheels hubs, drums, and rims. This Hub Hero Cleaning Brush is designed to work with the stud cleaning tool to easily clean wheel hubs on your vehicle or trailer, and that stud cleaning tool we do sell separately on our website, it's part number SBCT13. Just wanna pull that stud cleaning tool that this inserts into to show you how it works.
Now, this tool itself will require a handheld drill or a Counteract air driver to operate this, and again, we do sell that air driver separately on our website, it's part number CA39FR. But basically, this Hub Hero Cleaning Brush is a quick change hub cleaning insert. You can see on the brush itself, it has the two levers here you push in, so to get this to install into the tool, you just push it in on those to get started, push it all the way down, and then just twist it until those pop out and lock it into place, and now it's ready to be used. This is designed to clean stud sizes 7/16 of an inch or 12 millimeters, 1/2 inch, which is 13 millimeters, 9/16 or 14 millimeters, and the 5/8 inch size stud, which is also 16 millimeters. This is a nice abrasive cleaning pad, which will quickly remove the surface rust and debris.
It is an aluminum oxide-infused construction, and it is for the quantity of one cleaning brush. But again, when this tool is inserted into either that drill or the driver, as it spins, that brush will do the cleaning. And then just to remove it, you just push it on those two tabs right here, and then sort of twist it out, push it on that one, push it on that, and once you got to pushed in enough, you can see that it'll pop right out, so it's pretty easy to install and pretty easy to remove.
