Is Drilling Required for a Class III Hitch Installation on a 1998 Chevy Venture
Question:
Would like to choose a hitch with 2 receiver for subject vehicle. Are any of the ones you offer a No-Drill installation? Thanks

Expert Reply:
All of the hitches available for your 1998 Chevy Venture require drilling for installation. On your 1998 model, you would be required to drill one or two holes, depending on the wheel base length of your vehicle.
If your Venture is a short wheel base model, you would only have to drill for the rear most mounting holes closest to the vehicle bumper for the Draw-Tite # 75278 Class III. Long base models would require additional drilling for the forward most mounting hole on the passenger side, closest to the front of the vehicle.
You can view the installation instructions for the # 75278 hitch by using the provided link, as well as a video showing the hitch being installed.
