Choosing Between Curt and Tow Ready Trailer Wiring Harnesses for a 2005 Jeep Liberty
Question:
What is the better wiring harness for 2005 Jeep Liberty Curt C55382 or Tow Ready #118524? My 10 yr old wiring harness was like Tow Ready #118524 that was overheated and stop working.

It is my opinion that Tow Ready wiring harness # 118524 is superior to Curt wiring harness # C55382 for your 2005 Jeep Liberty. We here proportionally less problems with the Tow Ready harnesses compared to the Curt.
The fact that your other Tow Ready harness lasted 10 years is awesome. There may have been a short on the trailer that caused it to fail otherwise it might still be working today!
