Winch Wiring Kit Recommendation for Use at the Rear of a Vehicle
Question:
Is the 12v at this connection powerful enough to power a winch with a max draw of 180 amps? Towing vehicle is a 2003 Lincoln Aviator.

No, you would need to use a winch wiring kit like # BDW20207 as the 7-way 12 volt accessory circuit is only going to be good for around 40 amps.
This kit will give you thick gauge wiring to use at the rear of your tow vehicle for the winch. It uses the same quick disconnect connectors that winches use. I attached an install video that shows an install on a similar vehicle as yours.
