Which Weight Distribution System Would Work Best for a 2009 Toyota Highlander

Question:

Can I use your EQ37060ET on a 2009 Toyota Highlander AWD V6 . I have a factory tow package rated for 500/5000. I have read that you cannot use a WDH on a unibody vehicle. I have about 300 - 350lbs on the tongue and tow a Stealth 6 x 12 enclosed with about 2500 lbs loaded +/- 500 lbs. The vehicle squats about 1 1/2inch and front goes up when connected to trailer. What is your professional opinion on this.

We have trailer hitches for your 2009 Toyota Highlander that are rated for weight distribution use like the part # 75726, but you would need to check the owners manual of your vehicle for the final word on whether or not you can use a WD system.

The Equalizer System part # EQ37060ET would be a great system to use based on the towing capacities you listed for your vehicle though. This comes with a hitch ball but would require you to have a 1-7/8 inch thin wall socket like part # ALL643216 to install it.
