Recommendation For Carrying 2 Bicycles and 2 Kayaks Behind a Motor Home
Question:
I am considering using the 4 Bike Rack for 2 Trailer Hitches, XTC4 for 2 bikes on the rear most 2 positions, and using 2 of the forward 4 yokes to hold 2 10 long, 45# kayaks vertically, tied at the top of the motorhome to a cross bar. Would this work?

The Swagman XTC4, 4 Bike Rack, part # S64665, is designed to carry bicycles only, I would not recommend using part # S64665, to carry anything other then bicycles.
I would recommend the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer, part # Y08106, as this would be the safest way to transport your bicycles and kayaks. Part # Y08106, can carry 2 bicycles and 2 kayaks at the same time, as you were trying to do.
To attach the trailer to your motor home, you will need:
Drawbar part # C45010 (for 2 inch receiver hitch)
Hitch Ball part # 19260
Hitch Pin part # PC3
To mount the kayaks to the trailer you will need a kayak mount, I would recommend the Thule Stacker Kayak Carrier System, part # TH830, that will carry 2 kayaks. Part # TH830, mounts to the crossbars of the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer, part # Y08106, just like it would to roof rack cross bars.
To mount the bicycles to the trailer, you will need a bike rack that mounts to cross bars. I would recommend the Yakima FrontLoader, part # Y02103. You will need a quantity of two for part # Y02103, to mount two bicycles to the Yakima Rack and Roll Trailer, part # Y08107. Part # Y02093 will mount to the cross bars on the trailer, just like it would mount to the cross bars on a roof rack.
If you plan to carry more than 200 pounds, Yakima recommends using, the Heavy Duty shocks, part # Y08110.
We currently do not offer any kayak racks for motor homes.
I have linked instructions for part # Y0817, part # Y02103, and part # TH830 below.
