First make sure that the hitch on your 2008 Kia Sedona is rated for use with weight distribution. Some of the hitches for your van are rated for weight distribution and some are not. If it is there will be 2 sets of tongue/gross trailer weight ratings.

Based on the weights of the trailer you have provided a system rated for 800 pounds will not be the best option. I recommend something that is rated lower so that it will be more effective.

Take a look at Fastway system # FA92-00-0450. This system is rated for a max of 450 pounds tongue weight (but you are still limited to 350 pounds for the vehicle) so it will be more effective. I also comes with built-in sway control and the narrow brackets are easier to fit on trailer frames since they take up less space.

All you will need with this system is a ball; # 40038 for a 2 inch or # 63847 for a 2-5/16.

If you want a system without sway control I recommend # RP66540 which is rated up to 600 pounds tongue weight. It will also require a ball; # A-90 for a 2 inch or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch.
