Trailer HItch and Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2014 Subaru Forester
Question:
What hitch do you recommend for my 2014 Subaru Forester? I also need a recommendation on a bike rack for occasional use for 2 bikes. It seems that ones that hold the bike wheels would prevent the bike wheels from turning into the rear of the car as might happen with bike racks that only hold the bikes up? Thanks for your help. I only want to do this one time so I want to do it right from the get go.

For a hitch for your 2014 Subaru Forester I would recommend a Class III hitch with a 2 inch opening like Draw Tite part # 75876 because they offer the highest towing capacities and have the most hitch accessories like bike racks made for them.
Platform bike racks like the Saris Freedom part # SA4412B are a great option and like you mentioned they don't let the wheels turn at all. This is a great USA made bike rack that would work well for you. It's also super lightweight at 22-1/2 lbs and made in the USA.
