Is it possible to order a set of rails for the PS3009 that will fit my 2006 GMC 2500 HD 8 foot bed?

The base rails that I recommend for your 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 HD with an 8 foot bed is the Reese Custom Outboard Installation Kit, # RP56007-53. These rails are compatible with all Pro Series 5th wheel hitches and they use the outboard frame brackets which make installation much faster and easier.
I have attached a link to an installation video on a 2009 Silverado for you to check out. The installation will be the same on your Sierra.
If you are looking for a cost effective base rail option, then you could install the Reese Universal 5th Wheel Installation Kit, # RP30035. The installation is a little more involved and frame drilling is required, but they are less expensive. The base rails that come with this kit are also compatible with all Pro Series 5th wheel hitches.
If you are also interested in an in-bed 7-way wiring harness, I recommend the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel Wiring Harness, # 41157, because of the 180-degree hinge. The oversized hinge makes it much easier to connect to the truck. I have attached an installation video of this harness on a GMC Sierra for you to check out.
