Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier for a Polaris Sportsman 450 HO with 1-1/4 Inch Trailer Hitch
Question:
Is there any reason why I couldnt use this on the 1.25inch receiver on my ATV? Will the rise in the shank be enough clearance that the carrier wont bottom out going up or down a hill? Is there a better choice with more of a rise that is 48inch wide? Thanks

The Curt cargo carrier # C18145 fits a 1-1/4 inch hitch or a 2" but only if it is a Class II. To be on the safe side I recommend a Class I compatible carrier, # C18110. It also has a 3-3/4 inch rise in the shank.
Given a severe enough incline any cargo carrier could hit the ground. It also depends on the position of the hitch relative to the ground. But I do not anticipate any major issues in that regard.
