How to Use the Cable Lock of Part # HRLHPTC With a Hollywood Racks HR200
Question:
I might be in the market for a Hollywood Racks HR200 rack. To lock both the hitch to the car and the bikes to the hitch, I see there is product HRLHPTC. For the cable lock to work well, there needs to be a welded loop on the bike rack through which the cable can be fed. My question: Is there such a welded steel loop on the HR200 rack? I have stared at every photo and watched the video of the HR200 and cannot see such a welded loop. Therefore, I am concerned that the HR200 is really NOT compatible with any bike cable lock after all. Thanks in advance for your review and response.

To use the cable lock portion of the # HRLHPTC will require a bit of creativity as you said there are no welded loops on the rack to route the cable through to attach it to the rack.
Instead you would want to wrap the cable several times around the main cross bar of the rack routing it through the spokes of the bikes as well. This will take up all of the slack and make it impossible to slip the cable off the rack with the bikes.
