Recommend 5th Wheel Hitch Rail Kit for 2016 Ford F-150 w Extended Range 36 Galllon Gas Tank
Question:
I see youve recommended the rp50087-58 base rail, but does the extended range tank effect this decision, or are we still okay with that configuration ?

Helpful Expert Reply:
I spoke with my contact at Reese and he informed me that the Reese Rail Kit part # RP50087-58 would work fine with your larger fuel tank. Since the brackets of this kit mount to the outside of the frame there wouldn't be any possible interference with the tank.
Since this is a custom install kit it would install quicker and easier than a universal kit. Since this happens to be an outboard rail style kit it would actually install even easier than a standard custom rail kit.
