Roof Cargo Bag, Trailer Hitch, and Cargo Carrier for a 2005 Cadillac CTS

Hi I am currently looking at the Rightline Sport 3 XL Rooftop Cargo Bag - Waterproof - 18 cu ft - 48inch x 40inch x 19inch code: RL100S30 and it says that it is for SUVs, minivans and crossovers. I have a 2005 Cadillac CTS naked roof and I was wondering if this product could be mounted on my naked roof safely? If its too big or not compatible what other product would you suggest for my car? I will be driving across the country and I am looking for something that can add as much carrying capacity as possible. Thank you for your time.

Rightline Sport 3 XL cargo bag # RL100S30 is a great option for your 2005 Cadillac CTS. The width on this bag is 40 inches which is less than the width of the roof of your CTS (the overall width of the vehicle is about 70 inches, the roof will be less).
Since you have a naked roof I recommend a couple of accessories to go with this bag. First, car clips # RL100600 will allow you to mount the bag to the roof without having to run straps through the interior of the vehicle; definitely a good thing! Second, the protective pad # RL100650 will not only protect the roof but also help keep the bag in place while you drive.
For even more carrying capacity you could also add a trailer hitch, # 24767, and then a cargo carrier, # C18110. I have linked videos on the hitch and carrier for you.
