Is there a Difference Between Dexter 6k and 7k Rated 12x2 Electric Brake Assemblies

Question:

You show the 12 x 2 Dexter replacement brake assembly as working on 6k to 7k weight capacity trailers. Is there no difference in the brake assemblies other sites show a different number for the lighter trailer axles. Please advise. I am ready to buy 2 assemblies and need to make sure I am buying the correct units. Thanks.

Actually for a 6k rated Dexter 12x2 brake assembly you would want the part # 23-459 for the right hand side and part # 23-458 for the left hand side.

Then for a 7k rated assembly you would want part # 23-465 for the right hand side and part # 23-464 for the left hand side.

The magnets are rated differently. That is the biggest difference.
