Recommended Brake Controller And Wiring For 2014 Nissan Xterra
Question:
Will be purchasing this wiring kit for my 2014 nissan xterra, I also have a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller but need the wiring for that, what kit would I purchase to connect the controller up thanks

If you do not have a trailer connector on your Xterra I recommend part # 118266. This gives you a 7-way connector at the rear of your vehicle.
You can then use the plug-in adapter, part # 3050-P to plug into the back of your brake controller and the other end plugs into the brake controller port under the dash and you will be good to go.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
