What Do I Need to Install Draw-Tite T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness on 2005 Chrysler Town and Country
Question:
Auto Parts store told me I need a converter kit for wiring the minivan for a trailer light kit. Do I need anything in addition to your kit part #118300? Thanks,

The item you selected, Draw-Tite T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118300, will work for wiring the trailer lights to a 2004 to 2007 Town and Country. If you have a 2005 Chrysler Town and Country, Part # 118300, is the only thing you will need for wiring just trailer lights to your 2004 or 2007 Chrysler Town and Country.
If you have an a 1997 model Chrysler Town and Country, you will need part # 118334, as it is compatible with the 1996 to 2000 model Chrysler Town and Country, and includes a converter to convert the 3 wire system down to a 2 wire system for towing a trailer.
It is recommended to apply a small amount of Dielectric Grease to prevent corrosion. I would recommend using Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors, part # 11755, when installing if you do not have any.
I have linked instructions and a video of the installation of part # 118300, that may be a good reference when installing on your 2005 Chrysler Town and Country.
