Dimensions for Installation of the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch # 13251 on a 2006 Grand Cherokee
Question:
I was wondering if I could get the specs and measurements of the bolt pattern for the receiver. I want to make sure I will be able to install without having to make any adjustments to the holes. Thank you!

I went out to the warehouse and pulled the Curt Class III Trailer Hitch, item # 13251, and the dimensions are as follows.
The two outermost through holes on the forward most plate and weld nuts on the rear most plate are 11-1/8 inches apart on center.
The two center holes and weld nuts are 4 inches on center apart.
The outside holes to the center holes are 3-5/8 inches on center apart.
The distance between the two hitch plates is 2-5/8 inches.
From the bottom of the inside of the mounting channel between the plates the two center holes are 1 inch on center up and the two outside holes are 1-5/16 inches on center up
With these dimensions you should be able to measure the mounting points on your vehicle and determine the fit on your vehicle. This hitch should not require any adjustments for installation as long as you do not have the Rocky Mountain Edition I have also linked the instructions below for you to review.
