RV Rated Bike Rack Recommendation for Carrying 4 Bikes
Question:
Im interested in buying a 4 bike rack for 1 1/4inch and 2inch hitches. We are renting an RV for an upcoming trip and want to know if either of these will work with an RV: Rhino Rack 4 bike tilting RBC044 or Thule Hitching post Pro 4 bike TH934XTR We own a 2001 Ford F 150 and a 2006 Toyota Matrix that have 2inch and 1 1/4inch receiver hitches. I think either of these will work with our vehicles. thanks

You will need to go with a bike rack that is confirmed to be compatible with the rougher ride quality that is at the rear of an RV when compared to a passenger vehicle. The racks you mentioned are not rated for RV use so while they won't work, I do have a solution that will.
The most similar rack that would work be the Swagman Trailhead part # S63381 which will fit an RV hitch application. Only problem is that it only fits 2 inch hitches. There aren't any 4 bike racks that will fit 2 inch and 1-1/4 inch hitches.
For a rack that will then work with both hitch sizes but can't be used on an RV the Thule Camber 2 # TH9058 is a very popular option that would work with your Ford F-150 and Toyota Matrix.
If you plan on carrying any women's or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
