2-1/2 inch Hitch Shank Recommendation for an Equalizer Weight Distribution Used in 2015 Ford F-350
Question:
I recently purchased a 2015 Ford F350 that came with a 2 1/2 receiver. I use an Equalizer stabilizer sway control bar that has a 2 inch shaft. I have a 36foot travel trailer with a GVWR of about 9700 lbs. Can i use the sleeve 58102 with the equalizer to safely tow the trailer or do i need to replace the equalizer hitch? Thank you.

You will just want to replace the shank of your Equalizer system with one designed to fit 2-1/2 inch hitches. The part # EQ90-02-4900 will fit your system, is designed to fit a 2-1/2 inch hicth and can do 10 inches of rise or 6 inches of drop.
