Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for a 2007 Toyota Tacoma PreRunner

Question:

Good Morning, I have a 2007 Tacoma PreRunner and I am looking to purchase a suspension helper system for use when towing a 6x10 enclosed trailer used to haul 2 sport bikes. Sometimes there will be a third sport bike in the bed of the truck while pulling the trailer with the other 2. I am requesting some assistance in deciding which system would be best for my situation. Right now I am looking at the Timbren rear suspension enhancement system and the firestone ride rite air helper springs. Which system would be best for my intended use? Is there another system that is recommended? Thank you,

Helpful Expert Reply:

Since the load in trailer and bed of your 2007 Toyota Tacoma will sometimes be different I would recommend an air kit that allows you to adjust the amount of suspension support you have.

The Firestone kit part # F2407 would be your best option. This will allow you to fine tune the amount of suspension support you need.

For a compressor kit to make maintaining the pressure in the bags easy you would then also want the part # F2158.
