Fifth Wheel Hitch & Install Kit Recommendation for 2015 Ford F-150 Short Bed with Reese Revolution
Question:
I own a 2015 Ford F 150 Supercab 4X4 with a 6.5 bed. I will be purchasing a Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RKDS. The trailer is equipped with a Reese Revolution Hitch. I intend to use the Revolution Hitch vice a slide/auto slider. What are some of my options for a 16K hitch and Industry Standard rail install Kits? I would prefer a custom kit vice a universal kit. Thank You,

The Reese Revolution pin boxes are the way to go for short bed trucks. They make towing with a short bed truck much easier than using a slider hitch.
For a custom fifth wheel rail kit for your 2015 Ford F-150 the Reese Kit part # RP56034-53 is going to be the easiest to install since this is an outboard style. I attached an install video.
For a fifth wheel hitch you will want to go with a stationary hitch since you have the Revolution. The 16k Reese part # RP30047 would be an excellent choice then for a fifth wheel hitch. This hitch uses a great jaw design that maximized kin pin contact and has a pivoting head to help prevent binding on unlevel ground when connecting disconnecting.
