No 12 Volt Power at Trailer Connector on a 2008 GMC Sierra

What if it shows power at the box and not at the end of the plug?

You may need to make some connections under the hood on a 2008 GMC Sierra to make everything fully functional. I have included a link to an article that will help.
If this does not solve the problem then there could be a break in the wire somewhere. If you cannot track down and fix the break then the other solution is to bypass it by running your own wire, # 12-1-1 sold by the foot, from the back of the connector to the positive battery terminal via a 40 amp circuit breaker, # PK54540.
