Recommended Hitch Lock for Maximum Durabillity

Question:

Hi, I am looking for some input on a product recommendation. I have a locking hitch pin on my truck right now that seized up after a matter of 4 months or so, I am looking for a quality locking pin that will not be worthless and need to be cut off in a matter of months, what pin would you recommend as the highest quality?

Since I do not know your vehicle or hitch size what I suggest is that you review the linked page showing our hitch locks that are made using stainless steel construction. Click on your hitch size to see just those locks that will fit that hitch.

For a hitch lock that will fit a 2", 2-1/2" or 3" hitch receiver, I recommend the B&W # C23025.

Any lock, even one made of stainless steel, will benefit from you occasionally removing it from the hitch to clean and lubricate it. A simple cleaning and wipe down with an oily cloth, as well as an application of spray-on lubricant like WD40 to the lock core, will go a long way toward extending the working life of any lock that is exposed to the elements.
