Replacement 7-Way Trailer Wiring Harness for a 2012 Ford Explorer with Factory Tow Package
Question:
I am looking for a replacement wiring for my tow hitch for my 2012 Ford Explorer it is a limited with bliss and rear park aid. I have seen some very helpful questions asked and thought I might get some more insight as to if this would work for my car or what would?

Expert Reply:
For a replacement 7-Way trailer connector that will fit your 2012 Ford Explorer I recommend # C56278 because # 118242 is designed for certain Ford trucks but not the Explorer.
The replacement 7-Way, # C56278, includes the connector itself and a new harness that just plugs into the factory connector in place of the old one.
