Parts Needed to Convert 4-Pole Wiring to 7-Way on 2007 Subaru Forester
Question:
Hi I have a 2007 Subaru Forester and just bought a small trailer with electric brakes that has a 7-way plug . I know about the trailer hitch and 4-way harness that you offer for my vehicle but do you offer any other wiring harness kit that would accommodate the 7-way trailer plug. thanks

We can help you convert your Forester's 4-pole flat type trailer wiring to a 7-way blade style to match the connector on your new trailer that has electric brakes.
Once you have a 4-pole installed, such as Curt # C55370 or Tow Ready # 118461, you can convert that to a 7-way using our # ETBC7 brake controller installation kit. This includes everything needed to install the included 7-way trailer socket on the Forester and allow you to install a brake controller like the popular and easy-to-use Prodigy P2 # 90885.
These are all the components you need to order and I have linked articles and videos to help you with the installation of the wiring and controller.
If you need a hitch I suggest Draw-Tite # 36311 which installs without drilling using the included hardware.
