Hitch Cargo Carrier Recommendation for a 2016 Honda HR-V

Question:

Just purchased a 2016 Honda HRV LX AWD and am looking to put a hitch on that will accommodate a cargo tray that has a 2inch connector since it does not appear that any of the hitches themselves would work with that, would you suggest any specific hitch and/or adapter? ie: keeps the carrier as close as possible. I will likely never have more than about 150lbs on the hitch including the weight of the carrier itself. Thank you for your time.

Since all of the trailer hitches for your 2016 Honda HR-V are Class I like the part # C11416 your best option is going to be to then go with a cargo carrier that is rated for the same hitch classification.

For that the Curt part # C18145 is the most popular option. It would fit and work well on your vehicle so we would recommend it for you as well.
