Plastic Under Body Panel Removal to Install Curt Class III C13149 Hitch on 2016 Toyota RAV4
Question:
We have a 2016 rav4. There is a plastic cover on the drivers side. Does this need to be removed in order to install the c13149 hitch?

The plastic cover you refer to can be removed and left off, or it can be trimmed and reinstalled as shown in the installation instructions I've linked for you.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing purposes, you'll need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness, part # 118578
Ball mount # D-4
1-7/8 inch trailer ball # 19260 or 2 inch ball # 63845
Hitch pin, part # PC3
Locking hitch pin # e98882
