Typically, brake controller wiring harnesses are designed to fit specific vehicles. This is because each manufacturer tends to use their own version of the vehicle end socket. I can help you in installing your brake controller, but unfortunately we do not have any custom fit brake controller wiring harnesses for your Rexhall on a Spartan chassis.

If the motorhome is pre-wired for a brake controller, there may be a bundle of wires located under the dash that will provide you with the needed connections for the brake controller. I wish I could be of more help, but I do know where this bundle of wires is located or the functions of the different colored wires in the bundle. Your motorhome owner's manual or local RV dealer may be able to provide you with that information. You can also use a circuit tester # PTW2993 to test for the functions of the wires.

If you cannot locate wires for the brake controller, or wires were not ran to ease brake controller installation, you will want to hardwire install the brake controller. The red wire from the Prodigy P3 # 90195 wiring harness # 20127 will connect to the stoplight switch behind the brake pedal that only has signal when the brake is pressed. The white wire from the brake controller wiring will need to be grounded at the negative battery cable. The black wire will route first to a circuit breaker and then to the positive battery terminal. The blue wire from the wiring harness will be ran back to the 7-way connector at the rear of the motorhome home to signal the brakes. I have attached a diagram showing the wiring connections.

You can use the # 5506 installation kit to provide wire connectors, circuit breakers, and wire to make connections at the battery. For wire to run to the 7-way connector at the rear of the motorhome, you can use # 10-1-1, which is sold by the foot.

I have attached a help article on installing a brake controller from scratch for you. This will help walk you through a hardwire installation.
