The Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118341, will connect to a different connection point than the factory wiring harness converter box on your 1999 Toyota 4Runner.
The Tow Ready T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness, # 118341, connects to the vehicles taillight wiring harness at the rear of the tail light housing. There will be connectors on the factory taillight wiring harness on both sides of the vehicle that will connect to the T-connector adapter on the Tow Ready wiring harness.
The connector with the yellow wire will connect to the drivers side taillights and the connector with the green wire will connect to the passengers side taillights. The white ground wire will be attached to a good, clean ground like the vehicles frame.
I do not have a wiring harness that will connect in the same location as the factory wiring harness.
I am sending a link to the instructions on the Tow Ready wiring harness. It will show where the taillight connection points are located on your 1999 Toyota 4Runner.
