Crossbar Recommendation for a Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket

I have a Yakima load warrior - looking for an adjustable cross bar for the basket. Seems to be one for the mega warrior.

For a crossbar designed to fit the Yakima Loadwarrior like part # Y07070 you would want the part # 8870042 that is a crossbar designed for the Loadwarrior.

This will attach to the side rails of the basket and will provide you with a crossbar like you are interested in.

The tubing that the Yakima LoadWarrior Cargo Basket is constructed of also has a 1 inch diameter. The top tubes of the LoadWarrior are 38-1/2 inches apart, if the sides of your basket are closer than that, you'd need to shorten the load bar.

You do not need to take apart your Loadwarrior to install the replacement loadbar part #8870042. You would take off the end caps of the bar and then push them over the railing of the basket and attach to the load bar once that's accomplished.
