Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendation for a 2000 Ford Ranger
Question:
I have a 2000 Ford Ranger, but looking at the connectors on the recommended harness it will not hook up. 2000 Ford Ranger without factory 7-Way Trailer Wiring. Is an adapter needed?

The trailer wiring harness part # 118344 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2000 Ford Ranger. It installs by plugging in line with the taillight harnesses of the truck. Basically you will unplug the taillights and plug this harness in between the two connectors.
